As the sole institution in Europe dedicated to rock and pop history, the rock'n'popmuseum opened its doors on July 21, 2004, near the Netherlands border. The museum tells the cultural story of the popular music of the 20^th century with the help of the most modern in media technology. The museum consciously presents itself as a new forum for pop culture and the vast scope of its artistic diversity.

Permanent Exhibition Sounds, placards, films, photos and numerous keepsakes from the stars themselves form the highlights of our extensive museum collection. more		The Scorpions The rock'n'pop museum is proud to present the story behind Germany`s number one rockband. “Rock You Like a Hurricane” is the title of the exhibition, covering a total area of 650 square meters. more

CAN-Studio The legendary Can Band has settled into this studio as its home base. 2007 it has been moved from Weilerswist to the rock'n'popmuseum. more		Specials for Seniors Every second Wednesday of the month, the rock’n’popmuseum invites everyone over 60 to a special guided tour navigating a century’s worth of music history more
